Any ideas on fun toys I could make at home for a conure?

Just using stuff that I could find around the house. At a pet store earlier I saw these little cardboard boxes that contain a treat inside, so the parrot shreds the box to get the food. They were pretty expensive though, and I think it would be much cheaper to make something similar at home! So that gave me the idea of making other toys myself. Any suggestions?

Scully loved when I took the cupcake/muffin holder thing and put treats in in. Then I'd ball it up and let him have at it! Every time he'd see a cupcake holder, he knew what was coming!

You can buy shredded paper and craft sticks at the dollar store. I also use paper plates, muffin cups, coffee filters, straws, beads

My birds favourites are toilet paper rolls! I make sure there is nothing on them etc etc and I stuff the middle with bits of fruit, veg, nuts, berries and balls of paper in between everything, then I close up both ends with balls of paper and poke holes in the side of the roll and get some stuff to stick out, sounds crazy! But it works!
