Question play gym esentials?

I cannot find a playful in the www I like. I dont like the price or material.
I've decided I'd like to make Bob his bespoke table top gym
What would you consider the essential items to include?
What would you have if you could?
I dont mind having to replace things. So destructable is in.

natural tree branches. theyre a huge hit with my guys! make sure theyre bird safe though. sycamore is a very hard wood and my guys LOVE sycamore. i'll take a photo of their playgym it would be small for bob i think, but you could use the idea yourself

Another thing you could make it out of is pvc. Put vet wrap on the pvc to make it colorful and less slippery!

Here is are two of Crickets homemade play gyms. The free standing one was made from a bird cage stand. The other from a snow saucer and a grapevine purch purchased from My Safe Bird Store. I think Persnickity carries them as well? I do think i may change out the grapevine purch because it is a little large for it. And snow saucers make awsome poop catchers! Oh and my local walmart had them for 5.oo when i was there the other day!

Cant find a snow saucer.
Due to a space storage issue I'm going to make a folding stand!
Like a keyboard stand.
With a perch that screws on to hold it rigid.
And a safety bar!
Some ropes and places to hang toys.
Priced it up.
Get my dad to help me at weekend. OH at bowling!
Its gonna be mega!

here is a hanging PVC playgym that I made for my fiddos! I already had the PVC and I made the toys. I just needed to buy the vet wrap so it cost me about $30 total, which is MUCH cheaper than anything I could find online. The birdies love it!

Ok I'm reviving this thread as Bob can have a playstand duting the day.
He's come on so well I can retrieve him if he decides to get down.
I'm looking at pvc and vet wrap.
It's wierd looking through this thread as some of these people dont visit the forum anymore.

Anyways, Swing? maybe a natural wood perch or two.
Rope, plastic, shreddable, or wood toys or maybe a mixture?
nothing too big as I need to store it outta the way.
suggestions definatly welcome.
