Macaw cage?

So, I'm getting my big mac (hehe) next year. It's coming up fast too! I'm either getting a green wing or a blue and gold. I was just wondering if anybody can recommend any good cages? That aren't kings! I can't afford kings!

I like these

and these

what do you guys think?

There are some really cool cages. I like the first one too. The orange winged amazon and congo grey at college were sharing a double one and it was MASSIVE

Wow! I bet!
I like the first one you showed us because it's simple and square, but it's HUGE and for a macaw sized bird! The only time I ever see simple square cages are small parakeet/budgie/finch cages, you know.

Yeah, it's REALLY tall! I think they'd love it. Do you think both a green wing or a blue and gold could fit into it? With moveable-ness and room for toys

I like the Oregon better. Most big macaws wont use the bottom half, so wider is better You will also have better space to put in more toys

Also, no, not big enough for 2 macaws. 40" is the minimum for a big macaw IMO for toys and wing space. 60" min for 2 macaws IMO. Look for double wide macaw cages, many come with dividers too

Jenny I didn't mean for two macaws at the same time. I meant is it big enough for the two species? Like obviously if it's big enough for a green wing it will be big enough for a blue and gold, depending on what I choose. I do like both cages but I get what you mean!

I don't know on the size, but I'd get one with a square body!

Yeah. Those long tailfeathers would be totally wrecked with no space...
