Hey, Ho! Knotting time in Santa's Workshop!
Well, the hand-made macrame hanging toy is finished and hanging in Sweetheart's cage. Sweetheart already played with it, preening a part of off-white frayed rope from her old toy. I incorporated parts of her old toy -- knotted frayed rope pieces, old wooden beads, and an old piece of wooden doweling, plus I knotted in some natural corn husk from an Indian corn decoration, hanging in the kitchen.
I made her macrame toy a long hanging, like her old rope toy, so it would still be familiar to her.
In the uploaded split-screen photo, the image on the right spotlights the end of the macrame piece -- I just adore macrame fringe/tassels and I quite like how this one turned out.
Hope everyone here, especially our bird friends, a Happy Holidays!
