New toy

I went looking for toy parts to add to my orbiter and boing. I was very disappointed. The store that normally has tons of them, is letting their stock go down and getting out of selling them

I did manage to find this toy. Plastic chain, lambs, a bell and tons of things to keep Maxx entertained. He took to it instantly, UNTIL I wanted to get a pic of him playing on it.

NICE! I have found that both Libby (GCC) and Charley (Hahns) love toys with lots of STUFF on them and BELLS, they both love bells. Angelina (Parrotlet) likes small toys, but especially loves swings.

I'm so fortunate that "my" local bird shop (Varietee's, Valley Park, MO) has so many wonderful toys and toy making parts. I'm going on Friday, and will, of course, bring home a toy or two along with the food supplies!

That's a fun toy and looks like one my Alexandrines would love to play with and destroy. My Sun Conure doesn't play with hard, ss, or plastic toys for some reason, nor does my Hahn's. They prefer shredder and preening toys, though I have them both enjoying some fantastic, soft wood toys now too.

I agree, the bottom of his cage was littered with pieces.

It's so much fun to find things that will add to their happiness, isn't it?

(I call this a "hobby" so it won't sound so crazy! )
