Alterior Motives

As some of you may know I've been wanting to get the Budgies and Hermes new/bigger cages. I haven't yet because I have to wait for a time where I have the extra money.

Anyways, is it bad that in the back of my mind I'm thinking, "Oh, if I get Hermes/Budgies a new cage I could use their old one to get another bird!"?

Do any of you do this?

I seriously have the worst case of MBS ever... I'm ALWAYS thinking about birds!!!

I do this all the time. I even keep extra empty cages, just in case.

I think about birds all the time and if I don't buy a bird every so often I go into withdrawl .

You are definitely not alone Kayla. My MBS is probably about the most serious of anyone on the board. Thing is though, I like it. All I think about every day is buys bird toys, food cages, dishes, perches, build my own toys and most off all how to save money to buy my next bird and of course broswing this forum and now working on my website. I think my OCD kicked into high gear along with my MBS.

I'm glad I'm not alone, I was worried I was the very worst . My mother has started teasing me that I'm like a drug addict.

I agree, lol.
My reasoning for only having one kid is that I can get more pets/birds if I don't have more, LOL.

I have 2 emergency cages in the shed.
Because I cant start to look at them.
I'm wondering wether to put glass back in greenhouse and grow my own veggies?
I could get another aviary in there. But realistically do I have time?
And I Do love gardening.
It would benefit my existing fids.
But the tree is over it!

That's one thing I'm worried about is giving the birds enough attention. The more is not necessarily merrier, lol.
