Making new toys out of old toys

Do any of you guys 'recycle' your old toys? Like if your bird had a favourite toy but it was wrecked? I do They had this, which was like some plastic rings with really small birdy bagels in eah ring for them to chew up. They had a Christmas tree, with loads of shaped plastic bits on them, like hearts and ovals. I took the little plastic shapes and attached them to the plasic hoops. I made my own birdy rattle! You can hang it from the roof of the cage or I sometimes take it off and hand it them as a foot toy. They really love it! I've started doing it a lot. Getting bits of old toys and putting them back together. It saves you some money too!

That's just the bottom of the toy, there are more hoops
