Bobby's moving house!

Well today was a great day

My brother decided to drop over one of his old cages for Bobby to use, I was pretty excited, I know! A 40+ bloke getting excited about a new cage!!

Anyway, my brother and his gal roll up with this huge cage and even with me being in extreme pain I was off like a rocket to get it set up!

Little did Rob neglect to tell me that is was still covered in the previous tenants urmm... crap! So out with the boiling hot water and scrubbing brushes until it was like new!
I still need to get Bobby some more toys as I think it's a bit sparse but we'll get there.

Here are some pics

We're hopefully hitting the pet store this arvo to get some new toys and feed

LOVE going to this store, such a huge range of toys, feed and new babies of all shapes n sizes
We even take the pups, they love it too, hehe

Have a brilliant day all, I'm off painting

That cage is really nice. I am surr he will utilize every inch of it, my irns are all over their cages. When you go to get toys, have a look at foot toys. Mine are foot toy fanatics.

Foot toys are toys they can hold themselves, like they're not attached to the cage. I know most of the Asiatic species LOVE them!

The foot toy Azreal likes best are the really hard plastic cat type toys with the slits in the side and a bell in the middle. He can toss these with great aim. He also loves Birdie bagels they are little willow rings that he can hold onto and chew up.

Thanks Jess, I saw them earlier today at a new pet store I was asked to visit so I could quote a new wall mural.
They had some young cats there that were really cute and fun, I'm not really a cat person but I made a couple of exceptions
The were really limited on their range of bird toys and products, not tooo bad on seed n feed but not brilliant by any means so we had a good chat about what the locals really needed!

Fingers crossed for the future

Shivani, the cage is worth every ounce of screaming pain and lack of sleep it has cost me
Bobby looks so much more happier and comfortable. I have really missed him today, it has been such a long day away from home with appointments and such that by the time I came home Bobby had already put himself to bed and sleep, he's an automatic 8pm sleeper and 7:30am riser It's fun, quieter day tomorrow can't wait to spend some time just sitting and talking/reading to him hopefully he's getting more used to me!

Quarantine SUX!
