Smile new cage for marley

so my plan was to save up and buy a new larger cage for marley and solo to share but in the last week they have started having disagreements and i am not happy to leave them together because although solo is a complete softy when it comes to marley and its actually marley that pushes solo around im scared that solo turns around one day and fights back. That wouldnt end well because of the size difference. so i went on our local gum tree and found a second hand cage exactly the same size as solos for half the price (R400) which my mom will be picking up today after work. It is big enough if there is one bird to a cage ad it is advertised as a cage for greys. So we will just have to see how they adjust to living in seperate cages. i think solo will be happy to have his space back to himself but i think marley might have a harder time getting used to it
i will post pics when it is all set up

Oh I'm not saying you will! But the problem is if a bird DOES get its head between the bars there is always the possibility of it not being able to get out which can be fatal. BirdTricks posted a blog post about it, it was very sad. I'm terrified of Dexter getting out. She doesn't come off her cage but she can fit her entire body out of it! It scares me so much, what if Pickles copies her!? EEEK that's the problem anyways. They're moving into a breeding cage soon so hopefully being as the bars will be different she wont attempt it, my fear is she will and she WILL get stuck this time just be careful is all I'm saying
