new set ups

so i put the tiels back together based on dally becoming depressed by herself and they are doing great! but i was thinking, since i moved tsuka and dally into the spare large cage above our hedgehog's cage. so what would i do with their old cage?

well i gave it to mango.

so what about munch? so i combined their old cages so she has her own big cage too

dally and tsuka's new cage

mango's new cage (he looks tiny in it) he has lots of jingle balls at the bottom of the cage because he loves to pick them up and put them in his hamster wheel! its his favourite game!

munch's new cage. its completely "munch" proof. she cant get the doors open, i left the old food bowls in the feeder doors, she likes to play with them lol, and the trays are really deep so she cannot reach the papers so thats an added bonus as she usually takes the paper out and destroys it!!!

and dally and tsuka are getting along great, the trick to avoid the food bowl issue is to give a wide clear glass dish that is big enough for two to eat out of!

That all looks great! And their cages are absolutely STUFFED with things to do! I think I've found someone who spoils their birds more than me.

How did you combine to 2 cages for Munch together?

their cages are the exact same so i flipped them on their sides and tied the bottoms together with heavy duty cotton rope lol then placed them over their old trays now its very long. munch uses more floor space than mango shes always running around and rolling around with her toys where mango uses more height all over the cage. so we gave her the longer cage and mango the taller. theyre still getting used to them but everyone has more space now

i've done it before as a trial to see if mango and munch would get along... that ended with a nasty bite to mango's leg!!

the toy was a gift from my fiance's mom (she gets things for tsuka sometimes because tsuka is her favourite)

i still need to make more toys for mango when i get the chance

the individual units are 3'Wx2'Dx2'T so theyre huge lol hedgies need a lot of room to run around since theyre very active at night.

total with both levels, these cages are 3'Wx2'Dx5'T with stand 4' without
