Does anybody have this cage?

My nan has very kindly offered to buy Spudgy & Sprout a new cage, and I've been looking in to a few but I really did want a flight cage. I've found a REALLY nice one which can be used for birds and rodents etc etc but I really do prefer it over the smaller ones I could get for the same price. Delivery is only 9.99 too. What do you think?

http://www.cagesworld.co.uk/p/Libert...appy_House.htm

I would like to leave the platforms and ladders in, to attach stuff too and the platforms can be used to pop foraging stuff etc on? I think it's a good idea!

I have to pay her back when I get the money for my budgie clutch which I am getting 130 for, so that works out fine by me

Does anybody else have it? And if they do, what do they think about it?

Hopefully it fits in that space. I'm gunna put Sam in with them too. She's old and tired and she sure would love those platforms to lean on

Thank you!

She's okay, she just gets really tuckered out after everything. I installed loads of little shelves in the aviary for her and she used to lie down on them and go to sleep. The tiels have swapped aviaries with the Kakarikis so she has had to come inside where the breeding budgies are and she's not in a good mood. She's always sleeping but when she's awake she's very lively. She loves having a bath. Poor thing. I think it would be great to retire her into it personally. She could do whatever she wanted and if she needed space from Spud n Sprout then there's PLENTY of room for her to get away from them. I will spent all the money I get from the kakariki babies on new toys to kit out the cage too I'm gunna need loads of cheap toy ideas haha!

Thats good to hear, I'm sure she'll be very happy in there. I hear you on the toys, I need to buys a ton of toys, mine just about destroyed all of their's, I also want to buy a cage to swap out two of my teil chicks in, I like the cage they are in but, I would prefer a different one and I need a stand for one size of cages I have, so I can redue my one room again. Anyway back to the topic, thats a great cage, can't wait to see it when you get it all decked out

Thanks guys

I like stacker cages personally, like double and triple breeders etc? I'm gunna buy a ton when I move out. It's an easier way to keep them for sure. Way more compact!

Yeah sure! Might be a little while though cause like I said. I get 130 for the 4 budgies which is going on THIS cage and then the 105 on toys for the budgies which is from the Kakarikis and then I will get the triple breeder which is like 350 for the really big one so after I sell the tiels which are like 60 each I will have 240, then some more saving for the cage

Okay, I'll tell you, I of course plan to put a pre-fab building on my property to expand my personal birds, hopefully a very large one, I just have to get the money together. But I also have plans to actually open a ParrotGirl's Bird world, basically it would be birds on display, aviaries, and a store, though I don't plan to sell birds, just supplies and of course I'll take in birds. I'm thinking there could be like shows or something with some of the birds, and of course it would an educational place, to learn about birds and caring for them. Then I could add a coffee shop/bakery where we could sell cakes and pastry's and things and people could sit and watch the birds. Mind you right now this is really just a dream and it will probably take me a long time to make it happen, but I really want to due some kind of work with birds. If all goes well, several years down the road, I might be offering you a job flying birds of prey

Shannon. I would be VERY happy to do that! I would love to go over there and do something. I'd be a lot happier. Over here I'm just gunna be private breeding so that would be AMAZING. I could do a show like two or three times a day and obviously maintain the birds around. How much land do you have?!

Right now I only have two acres, pleanty for my private birds, but not enough for bird world, luckly I don't think it will be too hard to get more land up here, since it's pretty much all land with a few houses, I'm hoping I might be able to someday buy the two or three properties behind me , the only problem is getting the money.
