New cage

Being as I had ended up keeping Spudgy I had to find him a cage. It was way too small for him and he had very little toys so I did something stupid and put Sprout in there. They had been living in there fine but of course we all felt sorry for them. My nan was going to get me a flight cage (as I posted in a previous thread) but she ended up choosing one she wanted, which is only fair! I have to admit, I like it a lot! And so do they. They have so much room and the cage is gorgeous. It's the Montana Madeira 1. When I sold two kakariki babies (I only got 70 for the two, which is fine by me but I need more for what I bought with the money) I spent all the money on getting new toys etc for filling out the budgie cage. Honestly the cage is so big it looks like there isn't anything in there! The cage was only 114.99 with free delivery!!!

Here's some bad photos of the toys...

This is a really cool millet holder

Treats hehe

Wrapped up boing

As we added Sam into the cage, we had to have something that was more practical for her. So I got her this really cool flat perch. She loves it!

Here's the actual cage (better picture)

And here's some vids..

Highly recommend it for anything like lovebirds, parrotlets, budgies and similar size. I think finches and things would love it too!

They've done nothing but explore since I put them in there. I wonder if now they have the large water bowls they will perhaps begin to bathe properly?
