Here is my Fids Spa Pool

It has had some design changes and been remodeled due to failings.
It started out life as a very cheap simple pool which Ricky took to with-in mins of it being turned on for the first time.
Rikki (Adopted Eastern Rosella) using Home Made Bathing Pool - YouTube And here are a couple of the Fids using it last summer.
The Tiels Playing in the Pool.mp4 - YouTube
It is just a plastic bin with a fish tank circulation pump (240v) some pipe cut to hold up the tray that the pool (plant tray) sits on. This does work and is very cheap to put together.
But as the Tiels prefer being sprayed I wanted to have a shower for them as well.
This is when the price started to get up there. and the simplicity fell away.
I had issues with loud pump, the perch stopped working and the spray went everywhere. In the end I paid good money and bought a commercial spray pump (12v) from a spray unit. And I cut clear plastic sheet to go around the tank to keep the spray drift from going everywhere.
The great thing is that it does not need the water changing that often, and stays fresh because it is moving water.

If you have birds that chew things like cables then you will need to figure out how to protect the cables.

I have a time clock that controls the circulation pump and this comes on four times a day to refresh the pool.
Another that controls the spray pump and this I only run 3x times in the mornings.
I will only post a few pics here, but if you want to see more they are here.

Mk1 The simple pool. this is how the pool was when the two vids wer taken.

As it is today but no perch. This does not show the plastic around three sides though. As you can see I have up sized the plastic bin.

And with both pumps going

A tribute to my lost ones. RIP.
