is there such a cage?

Hi guys.

this is a theoretical question at the moment, if you can call it that lol!

I have been umming and ahhing in the small parrot section about what bird to get now that we are starting fresh with birds. Truth is I have wanted something a bit more stereotypical parrot looking, bulkier and colourful for a year now and my dreambirds are blue headed pinous or galahs. Problem is even though I've found breeders for both...everytime I think about getting a 2013 baby I feel sad about not having a cockateil anymore!

so what I want to know is if there is a cage that would fit against a regular chimneybrest wall that is partitioned into 2 sections large enough to be suitable for a blu/h pi in one and a tiel in the other?? Places that deliver preferred. I wont be buying until next year but would like to know costs in advance.

The reason I think you will not get a cage like that is mainly because of bar spacing You could get a large stacker cage but as I said, your tiel may get its head stuck, so you would be best having two seperate cages

You can have one custom made by Rosemead Avairies, they make to your specifications so they can make one to fit in that space, with feeders and doors where you want and different bar strength/ spacing.

Drop them a call or email enquiring about it, they are more expensive than a standard cage as they do custom make it to your exact design where possible.

I have not had one myself unfortunatly (I'd love one) but I know of someone who has and she loves it and I have seen them as they do they macaw holding cages and catching cages at bird shows I go to.
