Is the first picture two cages made into one? Or is that one cage?

the first cage is two of the same cages put into one its munch's ideal cage. its munch proof!

bars are strong
doors LATCH shut
the "feeder" doors are blocked off with parts from the old grate and secured tightly.
the tray i can fill with paper and its 6" deep so she cant reach the paper from the grate.
anything she shreds and makes a nest with falls through the grate into the deep tray where she cannot reach it again.
she plays most on the floor so the long cage gives her more space to run around since she hardly spends a lot of time in the top part of her cage, she basically naps up there, chews some perches, and sleeps up there. the rest of the day shes running around the bottom and is full of energy.
the cage design is surprisingly easy to clean!

its her ideal cage, its just bulky and awkward sizing. and heavy.

these used to be the separate cages, i just flipped them on the side and secured them in the middle. its completely reversible if i need travel cages! i used the bottom trays as the trays still, just have to space them apart to support the cage.

plus, to clean it, i slide the bottom out from under and wipe it down and change the papers. its very easy. i am short though so i need a stepping stool

That's really handy! I was thinking about getting Princess the same cage I have for Apple, as I love it. But if they got along I was thinking of maybe joining the two cages somehow. I don't know how I'd do that...cut the bars off on the sides and use twisty ties or strong clips to hold them together? I don't want to do anything dangerous, though.

if its the same cage, flip them on the side and tie the bottoms together and put the trays under it and where there is no tray, some newspaper
