new foraging toy i made for the tielies

found these awesome interlocking block things at the dollarstore... and i made a foraging toy out of them!

unfilled:

filled with cupcake papers and palm leaf shredders:

i hope they like it, i will find out tomorrow

i plan on making 2 more for each of the lovebirds. it is refillable and can be filled with anything that fits in there from fresh veggies to millet to wood blocks to foot toys to paper

Those are a great idea. I often browse the dollar stores for cheap toys suitable for my macaws. They go through a piece of pine block in a matter of mins. So homemade toys are what they get mostly.

Your so lucky to have widdle nibblers that can't destroy a Sherman Tank.

actually, these guys destroy things very very efficiently!

not as large scale or as fast as a macaw, but in a matter of days some toys can be destroyed lol

this has been almost destroyed by now, by TWO tiels lol

and here are some others

this is what the first toy was supposed to look like

the second toy looked like this

there is a reason they are getting THIS for christmas
