Seed guard

I haven't been here for awhile, hi all! I have tried alot of skirts. I bought the ones that fit the bottom of the cage and extends out about 4 inches, I have tried the plastic that is like clear and closes with velcro. I have tried the mesh ones, Cricket got his toenail caught in it. I am thinking something about 14 to 16 wide and 80 inches around. Maybe elastic on the top and bottom. Anyone have any good sources?

Re: Seed guard

Sounds tough! No seed catcher works 100%

Have you thought of engineering your own?

I found seed catchers help, but don't stop it... I got a tidy seed feeder for the linnies and there's almost no seed at all on the floor now. They make similar products from other companies that look just as good and a lot cheaper if you want to try one They went right into it with no problems and Kaiko is usually fussy about new things

We tried to use one before and found it only helped a little bit. Look around on etsy and similar, loads of people are making them

I do have a pm into a lady that makes them on etsy. I also have a tidy seed feeder but it doesn't work well on this cage. As far as making my own, we have made plexi glass ones for the other cage and my sewing machine and I don't get along. Lol. We will see, thanks for your ideas and responses.
