New cage for Tilly

Hi every one,
got a bargain today, a new cage for Tilly, twice as big as her current one, or even bit bigger than this, it is white. Got it for $ 50,-- brand new but it was a display cage in the pet shop. So it needs a little dusting, steam cleaning. It is white, got 2 main doors and at least 4 little doors. We also bought her a kitchen trolley to put her cage on it, much the same like Joes, also a few new toys and a food wheel where she can forage a lot.
Tomorrow we will get her a clicker, we can pick it up at the petshop.... unfortunately they don't sell wooden ears, LOL

We set up Tillys new cage today and in less than 5 minutes she went in there by herself How good is this, and I was so scared that it will take ages or that I have to put a towel over her and put her in. She made quite a progress to be less nippy. She jumped down to the floor and I could pick her up with my bare hand, she didn't mind to step up at all.... but it doesn't work when she's around her cage

She could be cage aggressive and territorial. My ringneck, Echo, would freak out if I touched her cage or tried to change her bowls etc. and I'd get a puffy head and pinny eyes haha

Woohoo, got a few pics of Tillys new home, she settled in soooo very well, she hardly lunges anymore when I go and clean up or change her food and water.
We also got some wood in, it has to be prepared ( cleaned off all nasties etc ) to give her some natural perches too.

I've never known a bird not like a cage. I upgrade cages all the time and move them around a lot. A few birds it helps avoid a bit of cage aggression too her new cage is nice, but my concern is that it isn't very deep so you may find her tail (as you know, the psittacula family have very long tails) may become damaged over time if it keeps sliding against the bars

I noticed that she is less cage agressive as she seen me setting it up, Yes according to depth it is not much bigger than her previous one, but due to room conditions I couldn't get another one. She is very talented in cocking her butt and not to touch the cage with her tail feathers, makes me giggle all the time, she behaves like a primadonna on this one, hahahahaha
