Beautiful birds @pitiful.rain !

I am a budgie lover here as well. Tell me something? What are the paper type perches are Ino and Shiro standing on? Did you buy them or make them? They look interesting and fun for budgies to shred and play on.

I just braided newspapers together lol they seem to love them and shred them but don't eat the paper. I even made swings, Avis loves hers. I was surprised it holds her weight but I guess conures are considered small birds

Very nice!

I think I might try and do this for my birds. Thanks for the idea and info.

I find that scrunching the paper a bit first makes it easier to use. And I twist each piece as much as I can to make it kinda ropey. I did it with paper towel too but they're shorter so not as useable. Just trial an error while spacing out on dumb tv lol
Good luck I hope your birds like them

Iím new to budgies but I got this pair yesterday...
Named them Hei Hei and Becky (fans of Disney and Pixar)
I believe they are English pet variety as they are tiny
I think they are probably just standard wild type greens but maybe blue or cinnamon or olive or something in the mix as tails are abit blue and the green is light and so are the wing markings but I actually donít have a clue when it comes to budgies these are my first!
They are a male and a female
I think probably aged 6-12 months

Can't comment on the colours myself(not even sure if mine has any dark factors or not) but I think the English are the big ones and American are the small ones. Otherwise mine are English cause they're tiny too lol
