Our puppies! [pics]

I finally have them home! My two pups. They're absolutely gorgeous if I do say so my self. They're papillon x border collies. Bailey is absolutely tiny and I think she will be pap sized but Toby is a monster of a puppy and he's going to be huge!

Bailey

Toby

I took these photos on their first day home (Thursday) but I should really be taking tons more while they're so tiny. I do have more than these, but a nice profile of each dog will do for now

How cute,
That is such a strange cross. Were they meant to be or were they an accidental breeding?

I have photos of them from 3 weeks and they were like guinea pigs very fast! And it was an accidental mating. They laughed at his attempts but he sure did show them when she surprised them with this lot!!!

Thank you both

Oh Daisy they are just too adorable. I want them. Bailey is so cute. I have a real soft spot for Borders and they both look like Borders.

My 2 bubs great grandmother was half Border.

Thanks Kate! My last dog of 18 years was a border collie and I miss him terribly. I went looking for one and got Candy as a rehome, but she turned out to be a mudi not a BC! Now I have these 2. I love high energy breeds

I though the same thing about the sweet faces even before I saw your post Daisy.

Don't let those sweet faces fool you. They can look like butter would not melt in their mouths, but behind that innocence are total little terrors. You often get that look when you have caught them out doing something they should not be doing.

Non kidding! Jack sent me a photo today and a lot of very angry words. They were sat in a pile of hay that they had torn up out of a huge bag (for the rabbit) looking very innocent/sad. He has none of it

Oh god I know the feeling. Had some very angry words myself when I brought the grocerys home the other day. Got all the bags inside the front door, moved the meat out into the kitchen up high and when I went back to door to get the bread here is a sweet master 6 year old Fat Boy happily munching on a slice of bread after he had ripped the bag open. Can't repeat what was said, but Fat Boy ran very quickly and hid.

As I've said before, they are just too cute! TOO CUTE, I say! I can't wait to meet them when I eventually visit you! (They'll probably be full grown by then!)

Thanks all. Bailey and Toby are getting enormous and yes they have been a LOT of trouble. They're worth it, but the other day I had to storm off from them. I got in and my Jack went "don't get angry with me, but you're going to be furious". I walked in to the kitchen and they'd taken my GHDs (the really, really expensive hair straighteners) off the side and had chewed the plug off AND the straighteners, then they'd proceeded to chew the cable up so bad it wasn't even worth saving. They weren't plugged in and nothing was ingested but boy was I mad!

Your Bailey is gorgeous

Hey Daisy, my lab mix Jade, is a chewer too. We thought crate training was bad for pups(just brought up this way) So we didn't buy a crate for when I wasn't home or at night when I could not watch her. One night I let her sleep with my son, guess she was a year old at the time( she is 2 now) and when I woke up the next morning and went to his room, he was sitting in a pile of wood.YEP Jade chewed his bedframe to bits. LOL, now I laugh about it, at the time it wasn't very funny though. Needless to say, all my pups are crated when we are not home. IT is just safer for them and for me. I don't have to worry about them getting hurt, or coming home to a ton of damage. My pups would eat electrical cords that were plugged in if I wasn't watching them. They are slowly growing out of it. Jade will be 3 at Christmas, and she doesn't chew as bad. Now I have an IRN with a chewing problem, LOL, then chewing and biting on my hands, lol. We will get through that too. Hope it slows down for you soon.
