Chalkie bumped his cere again [pics]

I am getting so fed up of this I have tried plastic mesh, I've tried blocking all but one side up of the aviary and I've tried rubbing aloe gel on it as much as I can so it heals up every time. But now it seems like he's doing it once or twice a year and quite frankly it looks awful! He only does it because his aviary is taller than our fences and he can see next doors dog, who he would gladly kill, and cats on the garages a few doors down, again he would kill those too. He's throwing himself at them with the intention of murdering them and all he's doing is messing up his pretty little face!

Got some pics yesterday so you can see what I mean

He also had a beak trim last month and it's already grown back into that horrible shape He had been tested for his liver function and stuff and everything is normal. Just who he is unfortunately. He's always battered and awful looking When I first got him, almost a decade ago now, he had 2 broken legs! Since then he's injured himself TWICE! and is constantly whacking his face off stuff. Silly bird

He is not looking awful, Daisy, he is a beautiful bird.
I hope one day he will give up his self destructive behaviour.
