Exclamation This is an issue near and dear to my heart

I support our local wild horse/burro rescue group by monthly donations for feed/hay/meds, etc.

Here is an issue which needs desperate attention as rich ranchers have for years and are still trying their best to push off the wild horses and burros for slaughter so they can put their cattle on federal lands to graze. Which federal land has been designated as a refuge for these wild creatures in the past.
They keep trying to say it's the horses that are over grazing, when in fact horses have been there for hundreds of years with no problem. It's the cattle doing it. There are other spurious attacks they make, as well.....clever little hobbitses.
I will not publish the horrible manner in which these animals are slaughtered. I can't take it frankly to post it again as I've done elsewhere.

But, here is your chance to write your congressman to tell him/her what you think.

Please! Please! These animals need our help to save them

BTW, horses were here thousands of years ago (and not the "invasive species" also wrongly claimed by their enemies). They drifted over the Siberian peninsula (for reasons unknown...maybe weather?) and became entrenched there b/f being brought BACK to the North Americas by the Spainards.
