I hooked up cameras to creep on my birds!

So after an unsuccessful breeding season last year for my hawks (they smashed their fertile eggs around the time they were due to hatch) I decided to install some surveillance cameras in the aviary to keep an eye on the nest. Apparently that's weird

This is the male passing food to the female (or trying to at least)

And here he is perfecting his nest (go to 55 seconds for the cutest little nest pat down)

Enjoy!

PS - I will be updating this thread with the progress of the whole breeding process

Almost a year later, unfortunately I've had no success :( We had eggs last year and two clutches this year with no luck. It's been really annoying. They seem to sit really well and everything goes smoothly up until they hatch. I believe it's the hen who is killing the chicks the moment they hatch. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing and I'm at the point where I'm tempted to incubate the eggs myself and creche rear the chicks. I absolutely want to keep a chick back from my boy. He's got to be 15/16 years old now and I've had him that entire time
