New... but old in the way of being a Parront!

Hia!

I've fostered parrots, owned many a feathered friend...

And been mamma to several budgies and one Broto...

Curious about this thread; and active on a few others..

So yeah.

HELLO!

This is Daffy... my escape artist. She loves to play on hampster wheels and crwl under doors... or burrow into blankets. She's not a tame budgie persay... but she loves outside time and doesn't mind me toooo much.

And this.. this is Blue; also known as Tricorder. Being the only Trekkie in parrot form I have ever had the privilage to meet. This bird mimics... but only one thing... anything electronically related to Star Trek. Her favorites are laser pulses, Tricorders and the enterprise computer beeps!

And this.. this is my Porter. Snuggle bug; wolf whistle artist, and nest maker of hair. He enjoys watching violent movies... and mimics each and every gun shot as it happens. He is also an ear biter, frequent flier to the point that I wonder if I'm going to get any flight time out of him as well. He is also my little social butterfly... loving to spend time with any person he can get his little claws into.

So yeah... those are my fids.

I myself am a Jeweler and many other things besides.

Edit: Had to revamp the pictures I suppose.

As for the ones in my siggy... they are as close as I could get to a pure yellow budgie and a white winged parakeet xP

So is Porter the plet? LOL.

I own the exact same three species (if your signature is correct)! I would love to hear about your schedule with them and how they get along. Do you own any other pets?

Welcome Maggie! It sounds like you have some wonderful little parrots. I love the way you describe their personalities.

That should be a little better xP

I've fostered a couple of birds as well; though they ended up getting rehomed simply because that was the plan.

I DIDN"T expect my mom or my sister to be the adoptee's though... but as everyone here likely knows the Bird chooses the person. Plain and simple.
