You have a wonderful flock. I had to laugh at your user name and the reason for it. There is something so endearing about the way a Quaker looks though.
I got mine at a bird store in St. Louis in August 08 and they were hard to find. It was my first trip to the store and they had two green ones and that is how I got Pickles. My blue one came into the store a week later, but I have not seen any there since then.
Sunny-beep is great, I got him when he was just 3 months old. He is very friendly and is only loud if someone comes in the room and doesn't give him attention. He is really attached to my husband. His noise is only short burst of sound where Paulie the quaker are 12 hour long bursts I am trying to introduce them slowly and hope they become friends.
Your birdies are so cute. Love your screen name. Sure does describe them. I have one tiel that thinks he needs to be making some kind of ear piercing noise all day.
Thank you all for the nice welcome. My screen name came from my Quaker Paulie. He is never never quiet. He is always busy and getting mad at his bell or flock calling even when I am sitting right in front of him. He will just sit on his perch and jabber at his highest volume he is very friendly and doesnt bite but if he could just tone down the noise I could quit taking motrin for my headaches
