Hi from MI

Hello everyone! My name is Bruce and I live in S.E. Michigan and I have been a bird person for a very short time. So I'm still learning and I have a lot more TO learn. I currently have a 10 year old Blue Crowned Conure named BlueJeans and a 16 year old B&G Macaw named Simba.

And God said, "...let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." And God saw that it was good.

Ok, here's me and Simba today. He's only been with me 5 weeks and he's been very shy, so him stepping off the cage and on to my leg is great progress.

Welcome to the forum! And good luck with your two parrots. It is amazing how much you learn about birds from living with parrots. After I got my parrots, I found I could better understand the wild birds that come to my feeders and use my bird houses. Birds are wonderful house companions.

Oh wow, that is fantastic progress! The key with birds I have found, is to always, always let them come to you
