Hello from the American southwest

Hello all! I'm just another human who loves to be surrounded by feathered friends. A B&G macaw, two parakeets, 7 finches and my special babies, the linnies. They helped heal my heart after the loss of my 15yo African Grey.

There are a lot of birds in our house and it seems normal until the neighbor kids visit and comment. In the bird world, we're probably average.

Welcome to the forum!!! All your birds are stunning and I know what you mean when you say it feels normal until visitors comment lol.

Curious why your linnies are your special babies as opposed to every one else

Thanks for the welcome everyone! The grey was my bird, the macaw is hubby's, the budgies were my daughter's pick, and I took the finches when a friend couldn't keep them. The linnies were carefully chosen by me, (and they choose me as a climbing tree). Every single one in the flock is a unique character and adds something different to the household. Ah, birds!

Do you know the sex of your linnies? Do they get along well with your budgies? What sex are your budgies?

Sandy, your flock looks great, thanks for sharing the pics.
So your linnies help you to safe money, you don't have to buy a climbing tree for them.
