Hi. I have been a member of talk cockatiels for a long time and sometimes I would look around talk parrots and finally decided to join.
I have two cockatiels. I got both of them when they were babies. Jackie is a normal gray male, he is very smart and knows several tricks. I got him in 1993 and despite being nearly 18 years old he is still very hormonal most of the time:giggle: Tiko is my female tiel, she is a cinamon pied and I got her in 2005. She is a nice and quiet bird with an earring obsession:)
My final bird is Hootie, he is a goffins cockatoo. I got Hootie in 2002 but I do not know his age, probably he is in his 20's now. He is a good bird most of the time. He can be very loud when he wants to be but fortunately that is not very often. He is very bonded to me but is okay with my husband and two kids too. He is a plucker, he actually chews the feathers off. He has periods where he does not pluck but then starts up again. He has been very good for over a year now and looked beautiful but unfortunately started up plucking again last week, not sure why. He is demanding for attention but not too bad and since I do not have many birds I can devote a lot of attention to him.
I also have a dog and three bunnies.

Welcome to the forum! We are excited to have you here and see you join in on the conversations. I'm on TalkCockatiels as well, although not too often.
Your birds sound great. Cockatoos are so much fun! Too bad about the plucking. Luckily haven't had to experience any self mutilation yet with my birds.
Looking forward to seeing you around the forums. :)
