Hello!

Hi all!

My name's Mallory, I'm a frequenter of Talk Budgies, but since I've gotten my Indian Ringneck, Popcorn, I've been more and more interested in learning about other parrots. I love our budgies, of course! But Popcorn is MY OWN, the first pet I've had for whom I have paid all the bills and done all the care utterly myself. Usually my partner, LB, pays for the vet bills and decides what we can and cannot buy for our parrots. But since Popcorn is mine, I get to do that

Here are a few pictures of my little lovely:

You can see where she broke a blood feather or two accidentally in her transfer from her carrying case to her new cage. We rushed her to the emergency "special species" vet here and they took care of that for us, gave her some fluids and sent her home, so all is well now.

We her!

She is beautiful. I'm sorry things started out kind of scarey. I'm glad she is doing well now.
