Hi - Welcome to the forum! I have a 3 year old blue Parrotlet and a 1 year old Pineapple Green Cheek Conure, so we each have the same type of birds!

I'm a moderator on a sister forum called Talk Parrotlets. You may want to join that forum too. Like this forum, there's lots of great people and information!

Please post some pictures of your Cody and Brett!

Welcome.
My daughter has a 10 week old blue parrotlet named Doug, and I have a pineapple green cheek who was hatched last May, so I guess she is almost a year old.

They may get along eventually. You have to be really careful with them though, never leave the room or anything!

As far as getting along, you never know, sometimes they get along fine. I've heard of Conures and P'lets who preen each other!

In my case, however, I think Libby, my Conure, would get along with Angelina, my P'let, but Angelina isn't having it -- not now, now ever, no way! She goes on the attack if any other bird dares to get near her! She puffs out all her feathers, even the ones on top of her head, spreads out her wings and tail, opens her beak real wide, and sways slowly from side to side -- "you want a piece of me?" Pretty clear, I'd say!

I'm just happy that she likes me! I keep them separated and each bird gets individual attention, so it works out fine.

Your birds are beautiful. Thank you for sharing the pictures.
At this point, my green cheek, who is older than my daughter's parrotlet, tries to attack anyone she can reach. The parrotlet, who is still very, very young, has been good with the linnie and the bourkes, although at first he was not nice to them.
The issue with the green cheek and the parrotlet is that neither of those two birds would ever back down if they got together.
Shandi's parrotlet and conure coexist quite peacefully. I don't know her secret.
