Hi, I have an African Grey who will be 2 years old in June. His name is Tango. We live in Texas and we work at an Airport. Tango goes to work with me every day and everyone enjoys having him around. He is learning to talk but we are having a little problem with manners. I was wondering if anyone out there may have a suggestion on a good training book.
aww Im so jealous that is the parrot I want to have next. Welcome to the forum theres tons of information and everybody is very helpful. if you have a problem you can post what it is on the behavior board, I know theres some good books on parrotdise perch for training but thats canadian and haha where are the pictures?
:welcome: to the forum!! What behavior problems are you having with your grey? Knowing the problems, we can recommend either a good book or training site, or offer you tips to help break the bad habits
My Grey lands on peoples heads when I let him out to fly. He works with me so it scares people who come in my office when he flies at them or lands on their heads. I want to give him plenty of outside time but I want him to behave while he is out.
What a beautiful bird... no advise here... all I have is 6 budgies, a parrotlet and tomorrow I am getting a green cheek baby... good luck with the training!!
