Alfie was startled last night and flew to the ground of his perch, I picked him up and see he had broken a peice off his Beak and was bleeding not much but enough to startle me, the bleeding has stopped he has had water and I have given him a small amount of weetabix as soft for him to eat, just worried as he is very qiet, and for the first time I have ever seen him, he has tucked his head in his wings...Thank-you

Hi and welcome, sorry it is under these circumstances. If it was just the tip of his beak and not much bleeding, he should be fine, however at the moment if will be very sore and he may be reluctant to eat. Feed him soft foods and veggies that he does not have to hull. Cooked rices, veggies, pasta, grains, eggs etc. what type of bird is he? Can you post a pic? If it is very painful he may need to see a vet about pain control. I would expect a bird in pain to act a bit quiet and depressed.

If you can post a photo, like Parrotletsrock said, then we can tell you if he needs to see somebody about it Hopefully it's nothing too severe
