New to Forum

I am new to this forum. This looks like a forum that is active with regular posts. I have 3 parrots. One in particular, my male Eclectus 20 years old needs a new avian vet in the New England area such as NH, VT or Mass. area. I live in Maine and there are no avian vets in my state.

I welcome any suggestions that anyone may have for a decent avian vet.
Kahli injured his foot many years ago. It has been deformed and arthritis has set in. He is a rescue. He has been on Metacam and seems to be doing ok in that he is still perching. So looking for a vet that I can rely on for times when my local vet who is not an avian vet but sees birds, needs a second opinion of his foot. I believe it is more about pain management for the most part as the avian vet said there is nothing they can do at this point.

Hello and welcome to the forum! I apologise that your thread has not been answered All I can suggest it to perhaps google it? You've probably already searched but as I'm from England I can't help all that much. I hope you find one who can help your ekkie more appropriately

Welcome to the forum! I'm sorry your poor boy is having issues. I would also suggest you trying searching for a vet on Google and just make sure you read reviews, etc.
Reason being is there may not be anyone in your area that knows of a good Avian Vet.
I hope you can find someone to take a look at your boy!
