New to this Forum and New to Birdkeeping
Hello all, I'm Melissa. I just got my daughter a Green Cheek Conure for her 12th birthday. We've had him since early October. Even though he is technically her bird I love him dearly and spend a lot of time with him and do a lot of the bird maintenance activities. For ease of discussion, from here on out I will just refer to Red as MY bird. It just makes talking about him easier. I have done a lot of research, watched a lot of videos, and had lengthy discussions with a friend of mine who is a bird expert. She has over 35 birds and has been keeping birds as pets for years so I really value her opinion. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and I hope to gain some more bird knowledge from this forum and maybe make a few friends along the way.
