Just thought I'd pop over from the Linnie group and see what this group is all about...I have a few birds...4 lineolated parakeets or linnies, one teil, and one rosey bourke and one little ole parrolette...I can never remember how to spell that LOL!!! I have a breeding pair of linnes...Teeka, a turquoise female and Slater my male mauve or slate linnie...I also have a baby that I kept from the last clutch of 4 and it is a male named Chilli or Chilli Bop...He is a cobalt and is a none stop learner for talking and picking up tunes to whistle...I also have a green femlae Nim that was in a contest on the linnie group and did very well....My teil is 19 years old and named Toby...Didn't find out she was a she until the eggs started to come...And she still lays...Rosie is my rosey bourke and she is a sweet gentle little girl...So soft to the touch...The parlet' is was named Molly when I got her and HE is now known as Mr. Molly...Yup another wrong guess by his previous owner...I am a older Mom of 4 grown up children and a grandmother of 4 and a GREAT grandmother of 2...The oldes ggrandson is 5 and the youngest will be one month old on the 16th of October...My husband died 6 years ago Sept. 19th and so am alone for human companionship...I have 2 dogs..Holli is an almost 13 yr. old German Shorthair Pointer and Skittles is a one year old Daschund...What a hand full they can both be...I love to camp and scrapbook...Lots of scrap booking ahead now with the new great grandson...Tomorrow is Canadain Thansgiving and am having 6 others over for super..(I think 6 or could be 8)...My poor little 1 bedroom apartment will be VERY crowded..But filled with love and good smells...Anyways...This is me...Gail from Ontario Canada...

Hey Gail, glad to see 'ya! :)

This group is different because it's for all parrots - not just Linnies. :D However, unlike other general parrot forums, we are trying to keep the focus on small parrots and their specific care/needs.

We are also bringing members from Dave's three communities: TalkBudgies, TalkCockatiels, and TalkParrotlets. :)
