Wink Greetings from Ju & Griffin

Hello there,
I just wanted to briefly introduce me & my bourke's parakeet Griffin to this forum.
I'm an artist in my early thirties and a huge fan of Australian grass parakeets. I took in a flightless, sick western rosella, named him Stan Lee and kept him for a year until he passed. I loved this little bird dearly and couldn't really imagine getting another bird for three years- until recently, when I adopted Griffin.
Griffin was born in July and he is the sweetest, gentlest little creature. We're only getting to know each other but he is very unafraid, steps up in and outside the cage and is just overall incredibly friendly.
I'm so happy I have him and am looking forward to getting to know y'all and being inspired by you and learn from your experiences.
All the best-
Ju

Hello Ju & Griffin, Welcome to Talk Parrots.

I love these amazing little birds that have such interesting faces so different from a budgie and other smaller parrots ... they have beautiful colors and sweet little calls which is nothing like a budgie either. It sounds like Griffin has stolen your heart and isn't that the best way to have it?

Thanks for sharing a photo of him with us.
