Been stranded ins Australia for about 9 months

Just got home

Very overwhelmed & disoriented.

Getting my Hawk Head & Crimson Conure back after quarantine.

Being away so long my life is in a mess here finincially, The paperwork piled to the sky. I feel like a newborn trying to learn to walk again.

I'm afraid I forgot how to care for them.
The things they liked to eat etc. The noise.

I feel so emotional & stressed.

Hopefully everyone stays well in this crazy world so we can take care of ourseves & our birds.

Back in Los Angeles I have to wear a mask & hope to be safe.

Welcome home ... I hope you can settle in with your birds and get your life back to normal however that may be. Just play some nice calming music while you set your home in order and play it when the birds come back. Get a bunch of fruits and veggies fresh seeds, millet and what ever favorite treats your birds love and bribe them with food to respond when they get a bit noisy.



I think after 9 months and them coming home they might be a little quiet and disoriented them seeing you again. Maybe they will be sweet and quiet and happy to see you too.


Here's hoping .... !


We have to wear masks here in Toronto Ontario in all stores and out about in the world. I hate them but use them and will continue to wear the damn things if it means saving other people's lives and my own.



I don't know about you CammyShadow ... but I am sure hoping 2020 will end quietly and 2021 will be amazing.
