Hello!

Hi everyone,

I've been on here once before, at the time I had two birds, Rocko and Tikoe, a cockatiel and spendid parakeet, unfortunately Rocko passed away last May, he was 15 years old. Since then our flock has expanded a little, we've recently inherited a 21 year old moluccan cockatoo and an almost 30 year old blue front amazon. Boy, has life certainly changed for us while they adapt to their new home! I think you'll be seeing a lot more of us on here!

Thanks!

Thank you. Seeing that I just entered my 30's and Rocko had been me his entire life, its still very strange not having him around.

I inherited them both from my parents. But its starting to seem like a bit of a "rescue" scenario. Cleo (the moluccan) and Max(blue front amazon) were left to their own devices, my parents are older and my father was quite sick, so they have been quite neglected.

While Max appears to be thriving quite wonderfully after a couple weeks at our place. Cleo seems to be still coming to terms with the new adjustment. They seem to have bonded with me, no problem and of course they have each other (separate houses.) My other half, sadly, no.

I will be posting pictures soon, as I mentioned, its becoming a bit of rescue, Cleo had started pulling out feathers shortly before coming to us. Seems to have stopped for the time being.. We'll see.

Alright, here is a pic of Tikoe, had it saved on my pc @ work.

Hi, welcome back! It's nice to see you on here again.
I'd love to see more pictures. A moluccan? That's amazing! They are gorgeous but
loud! I love their pink.
