Hi from Australia, Sunshine Coast

Hi Everyone,

Saying Hello, my name is Hanna and as from today I am not only a proud mommy of my darling Cockatiel Joe, heaps of fishies but also of an Indian Ringneck. Her name is Tilly. We inherited her again from an elderly Lady ( like Joe ) who wasn't able anymore to look after Tilly.... as a result she was looking for a good loving home. How we found each other? Through our aquaintances or in the meantime we can call them friends, a lovely couple who owns a local pet shop. They asked us if we would consider a 2nd bird and they put us into picture and we said yes, why not....
I am also a member of "TALK COCKATIELS" this is how I found and joined this forum too, and I am sure I will learn a lot about ringnecks to

Hello, Hanna! So nice of you to join the forum! I think it was very kind of you to take in Tilly...and she's such a cutie! I am on Talk Cockatiels as well, I just don't get on as often. Again, nice to see you here, can't wait to see more posts from you!

What a gorgeous bird. Is that the cage she came with? Without offending, she will need an upgrade with that tail. Asiatic species need large enclosures

Hi Daisy,
not to worry, you're not offending at all. Yes this is the cage Tilly came with, herself in a surprisingly excellent condition but the cage in a very poor one, as you can see on those photos. Yes we plan to get her a bigger one, but not quite now as she is settling in and me thinks to many changes at once will confuse her. Atm I let her be with sth she is familiar with, even if I changed things in her cage.

CHEERS Hanna

That's fine! I understand I had my IRN in a cage for an Amazon parrot haha. She still seemed big in there
