hello! just joined today and i love the looks of this forum. can't wait to check it all out.
i have a 1yr old Senegal that i have had almost 2months now. seems she loves me but hates my husband . i was so hoping she would love us both. she is such a joy, i am glad i brought her home.
after having an Amazon for 10yrs, she is a nice change.
i also have had cockatiels, mynahs, and Indian Ringnecks in my life.
currently its just Marnie and 2 budgie boys.
the Ringnecks are my favorite but kinda hard to come by, so i have Marnie now and i just love her!
i also have 4 dogs (whippets) who are very good with not minding a parrot walking by or landing in front of their nose.

maybe someday i will find that Ringneck just for me.

anyways, glad to be here!

Welcome Joan,

It is exciting to have another poicephalus person among us. We are really becoming numerous on here.

I hope you find your ringneck soon, too.

Tell us about your budgies. We love budgies on here, too.

Welcome to the forum! Marnie looks like a cutie - looking forward to reading more about her and the budgies! Sennies have a reputation of being partial to one person (although this isn't always the case). Try having hubby be the only one to offer her treats.

So she has a suite? Does she know she is pretty special?

thanks for the welcome :)
yes she ended up with 2 cages. the 1st one i ordered from Foster& Smith
(upper cage) and it ended up being smaller than i thought.
so i found a bigger cage on craigslist for $50. i then hooked them together with a piece fo rope and plastic link toy. she has a great time with it.

the parakeets used to be on the upper level but when i made her condo, i had to move them into the computer room .
its our other favorite place to be. but now the AC is in the window where they were so i still have to find another place for them.
right now they are on top of the dog crate:shrug:
anyone want a couple cute parakeets?
