I originally posted this on talkcockatiels and was advised to try here too. Sadly my landlord has changed their mind on me having birds at my rental property so I need to find someone to foster my cockatiels for 6 months until my lease runs out and I can find somewhere bird-friendly. My birds range between several months old to 10 years and they're all handraised. I would love for them to go somewhere where they would get time out of their cage (they're all flighted but I would be okay with clipping them if I find the right foster home). I'm offering to pay a weekly fee for food and your time and I have all cages and accessories and will deliver them to the foster home. I'm even happy to travel several hours if the right home is a distance away. Please privately message me or comment here if you can take care of my babies or know someone who can. Thanks!
Sorry , I cannot ( wrong country and no room ) but just wanted to say good luck... you need to get it in writing next time as part of your lease! ( I assume you didn't or he could not change his mind )
Also whoeever you foster them out to have a contract with them stating it is a foster home what you will pay for etc and that once you find suitable accomodation they are to return to you.
Thanks for your well wishes everyone. Unfortunately it's a townhouse so the body corporate by-laws override the lease pet clauses and the body corporate has complained so they have to go ):
