Raw or cooked?

Hey all x do you seve veggies to your birds raw or cooked? I was wondering about things like broccoli and cauliflower x

Raw, cooking destroys a lot of goodness. If it HAS to be cooked then that's different haha

Nope, I put it in the food processor and make it all fluffy, sprinkle it on other foods then hahaha :)

Both, anything that has to be cooked obviously is cooked, but they all get a huge variety, Rockys get more cooked than the others as he has some off my plate most meal times, normally some cooked carrot etc.

I offer the aviary birds cooked more so in the winter for the added warmth and also cooked when I give them egg especially during breeding, they love a bit of boiled egg.

I alternate between chopped and whole, chopped when there is a lot to do and things that just aren't practical not chopped up lol. However I do also do bunches of leafy veg hanging in the aviary, they LOVE a whole broccoli chunk just hung up and it is demolished in hours lol.
