I feed it both ways... I mince in fine and add it to my cooked food as soon as I turn off the heat... That way it is blanched for freezing and I also give it raw.. My birds love to pick the little buds off of broccoli.
I would only feed raw foods to my birds, except for maybe rice and grains and stuff that need to be cooked.
They don't cook their food in the wild.....
Both, anything that has to be cooked obviously is cooked, but they all get a huge variety, Rockys get more cooked than the others as he has some off my plate most meal times, normally some cooked carrot etc.
I offer the aviary birds cooked more so in the winter for the added warmth and also cooked when I give them egg especially during breeding, they love a bit of boiled egg.
I alternate between chopped and whole, chopped when there is a lot to do and things that just aren't practical not chopped up lol. However I do also do bunches of leafy veg hanging in the aviary, they LOVE a whole broccoli chunk just hung up and it is demolished in hours lol.
Seeing the conversation on here since my last post made me lol xD thanks again for the advice x
