    Hi, that's great you're thinking of getting one And also asking questions and asking people who've had birds before is a good idea before getting one! I personally wouldn't know, I haven't had my galah all that long but I suppose the only down side is new birds and biting, I've had Charlie for a few months now and he still bites.
    It would be a great idea to make this a thread to get a lot of advice from some other people who've had birds longer than me too!

    hello,,would like to ask you, I have a 7 years daughter and new baby boy will come in 3 months; I am so eager to have a Ghala and I do really think that Ghala is the best parrot when you have kids..Is it really safe to get one especially with a new baby coming soon?..Sorry I am new on this site and I don't know if I am doing the correct thing in communicating with ppl.
