Hi Bird boy, no I have no desire to have my own pet store. I am a nurse my passion is carrying for sick children. I wish you good luck on your quest for your own pet store let me know how it goes okay! Judy

Hi! Starting your own pet store a great idea, plus a lot of work. But I call that "fun"work. In USA when we get a baby bird usually 8 weeks or more, they are already weaned to eating seeds, pellets and chopped fruit, and vegetables

My new sweet baby linnie is doing well, eating all of the above, cuddles and so loveable. I named her Karma for a reason. I was waiting for another creamino linnie to be weaned when she died at the breeder's place. Please keep in touch!

Bullet's favorite are any types of berries, cranberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries. He loves fruits. LOL Now I cover my hand with a thicker wash rag to help but I can still feel him biting at him. Today has been a good day though and he sure is mumbling up a storm. LOL hope you and alley are doing well.

You can buy the frozen veggies and fruit mixes, if those are cheaper and thaw them out too, if that helps. Fruits and veggies are not too bad here. But vet visit's are expensive. And it is hard to find an avian vet here. Most vets here are more interested in dogs and cats than exotic animals or birds. So when you do find one it can cost a good bit. I know everytime I ask bullet to get on my hand, or everytime I have to get him and put him back up, I automatically say "step up" so he learns to step up when I ask. I am still getting bit hard, I do use a rag or towel to lesson the bite, and that helps protect my hand, but Bullet bit through my wash rag last night and bruised my thumb really bad, it is swollen, and black, purple, and blue. YUCK! Plus it hurts. He just goes on these random biting moods. I will be glad when those are over and I have a sweet IRN like my green cheek conure. You just have to keep at it, and I also find that just talking to bullet helps too.
