Bathing / Misting

Do you regularly bathe / mist / shower your parrots? If so, how frequently, and by what means?

Both of my linnies love to be misted (what linnie doesn't?!); it's like an urge that they get. My parrotlets aren't huge fans of bathing, but I mist them every couple of weeks regardless. Harpo will bathe every once in a while, but only on his terms in his water bowl. However, I sometimes bring him into the shower, and mist him other times with a water bottle... especially when he's molting.

My budgies and 'tiels love being misted! They don't like bathing though. I mist them not very often, cause I forget it
My lovie loves bathing! She will go nuts when I put a little bowl of water in front of her :giggle:
Mochi takes showers with me. :) She loves being held underneath the water, and she lifts her wings like she's trying to get it under her feathers. :p She takes a shower maybe 2 - 4 times a week, depending on if it's too late or not. Sometimes she'll get mad if I take a shower without her.

Whenever I clean the cage and I have to mop the floor, I give my budgies a good mist. Sano loves it and he'll chase the mist to take full advantage of it. Touki likes it for a short while, Kiri is pretty much indifferent... And Sora clings to the opposite end of the cage, and hide in the corner 'til I'm done. XD
I mist my guys (budgies) every couple of days - right now with Ava moulting its turning out to be everyday - those evil pin feathers :(

They don't seem to like it very much though, maybe one day
My budgies now bathe, but mostly when I hold the tub up, they get on my arm then take turns getting in it and dipping their heads.

My linnie LOVES the spray bottle.

My Meyer's doesn't care for the spray bottle.

They all get bathed/showered every other day on average.
All my birds are misted a minimum of once a week but more often if they are going through a molt. My linnie and English budgie love it. The other budgie is not overly fond of it but will tolerate it.
My cages are such that I can pick up the upper half ( the grate and bottom are separate) and I put the cage top in my bath tub. I open the play top and then just mist away. All the water stays right in the tub and it is easy to use a towel to dry off the cage.
Mine have a bath offered 24/7 , it gets cleaned out once a day ....the LOVE baths

My guys get a good soaking once a week, they get a mist inbetween (more often in the warmer months). Ozzy (GCC) has this knack of getting himself absolutely soaked by standing under his water bottle and "beating up" the nozzle,, it really is something else when you see how wet he gets himself, I must get a video of it one of these days.
Here they are in the shower :p I love wet birdie pics :giggle:

I have put a shallow bowl of water in for my budgie, and tried misting. She isn't a fan :(
Sue, those pictures are very cute! :lovehearts:

I do. I recently bought a shower perch and I take in either Feather (one of my cockatiels), Pegasus and Poupon together (two cockatiel best buds) or Autumn my GCC. They LOVE it! I have been offering a dish of water for bathing but they like their water bowls better it seems!

My linnies get misted around twice a week, they adore it. The parrotlet's hate misting so they have a birdie bath they bathe in whenever they want. The tiel hates water so only gets misted every once in a while. Goober showers with me  He loves it!
The linnies love to be misted and I do that 2 or 3 times a week. The quaker and conure only like baths and if I don't provide it soon enough or when they are ready the water dish will be their bath of choice.
Mojito only likes SHOWERS haha i have a picture in the thread i created.
