You did a great job! I think they can officially be called hoarders now. lol My BF always says my birds are hoarders because of all the toys in the cages. But, spoiling them is so much fun!

Do they eat the greens you hang in the cages? My birds won't touch greens like that. No I feed them whatever we have for dinner, usually make them little plates, and they eat that right up. But I can't ever get them to eat uncooked veggies or greens.
Yep toys are fun. I like to play with them myself while I make them. My bf also says I'm a toy hoarder because I've always got drawers and drawers full of different toys and I keep the old ones to use as parts for new toys.

lol my fiance says they have enough toys and gets mad if i make more! he says theyre too spoiled!

they eat veggies like that. my flock is really good at eating veggies and what not. they get a staple of carrots and brocholli as their main veggies, but im gonna also add dried chili pepper to that mix since they like them. parsley is new for them too and they really like it so thats another new staple veggie, and romaine or green leaf lettuce--whichever is cheaper at the time. scrambled eggs once every other week, some plain toast once in a blue moon, cherios as the occasional treat (dally is obsessed with them), cooked rice, dried papaya, cooked pasta, and they get their seeds. i dont do pellets as they will NOT touch them for the life of me. so i balance the diet out otherwise lol.
i use shredded carrots and the brocholli is cut up into little bits. the lettuce i try to make little salads for them and mix in carrots and brocholli and papaya. i dont cook the veggies.

Yep, I finally got mine to all eat pellets. I do mix them with a seed/nut mixture. I've tried all kinds of pellets and finally found that they will eat the zupreem avian entrees. Have you tried these? Mine seem to like all the different flavors.

pellets are also rediculously expensive in my area (try like 20 dollars for a 2 pound bag!) and id go broke. i have tried them, they wouldnt touch them no matter what i did with them. so its not worth it when i can use that money to balance out the diet in other ways that they WILL eat lol

I totally understand. I pay around 15.00 for a 2lb bag. Maybe I should try it your way. If I insist on the fresh foods maybe they'll give in and eat them like they did w/the pellets. I get tired of paying the ridiculously high prices for pellets.
