I love that you are such a true bird person and you don't care that fresh chopped food gets on your hardwood floors! I know too many people who fret over this.
I wanted to ask you about your chop you prepare for all 3? birds. Do they all pretty much eat the same thing or do you know which bird likes what veggie or grain more and you adjust the food choices for that particulat bird?
It would be amazing if you can make a batch of chop and they all like it and one bird doesn't toss a bunch of things out and make you fret and worry that they aren't eating enough what is good for them.
I loved that my budgies in the past all ate the same thing when I made them chop because if one bird ate it then they all assumed it was good so they all dug in and none were picky and refused a certain veg.
I said it before I want to be reincarnated as a bird and come live at your home!
