Contrary birds!

So I was just saying the other day that 5 of my 6 budgies are unruly brutes and I don't let them out of their cage because they will not be put back in willingly or not. So of course today Frenchfry had to prove me wrong. I had her step up and I took her out to hold her. She sat on my finger and was "civilized"! She flew around some, and every time I asked her to step up she did. She was very well behaved. I think she has espn2!
I have 3 in a flight cage so its not a cramped starter cage she is living in. I hope this behavior continues. I think they have been watching the conures and figured it out. Fingers crossed here. Its nice to be able to interact with the little bugs more than the cage allows. We like to handle our birds and spend a lot of time with them.

:giggle: That's great! I'm glad she decided to cooperate!
Sounds like they are starting to change their ways. Hope things continue to go well with your budgies.
Thanks for you support! I am spending more time with her and the little bugs as a whole. Happymeal and Frenchfry were hand raised and are not araid of handling. They ARE rebellious!

 Happymeal and Frenchfry, bet you were at McDonald's when those names came up or the kids had something to do with it. :yesnod:
Actually they were both hand raised, fed. Frenchfry smelled like day old fries for about 3 weeks after we got her. Old formula smell I guess! so when we got Happymeal a week later the name was obvious.
