Just curious; did you have the vet do the test or did you do it yourself with a company online? I need to find a new vet for my birds and when I called one the other day they said they don't do the testing for sex anymore and they tell people to google it and find a company that way. I thought that was a bit odd. I mean if you treat birds wouldn't you do that too?
I got Kiki tested at the Bird Farm (specialty bird store near my house). It was $30 I believe, and they sent me an official certificate along with it. I know my vets do it, and there are lots of places online.
